MAUN'S FIRST INTERIOR DESIGN PRACTICE
Amy has a master’s degree in Interior Design and a decade of global design experience. During her corporate life she bridged the gap between brand and interior design, working with trends across retail, residential and commercial interiors. Her greatest passion is working with hospitality lodges and retreats, creating a sense of harmony with the surrounding landscapes.
Since starting her business ‘Amy Fletcher Design’ in 2015 in Botswana, she has been a creative director and interior designer for Botswana brands. Her design studio in Maun works with local artisans to bring comfortable luxury and timeless design to safari lodges and supporting businesses.
In my designs I want to create a sense of peace and harmony. I believe that interior design is like telling a story – If you invest in hand-crafted furniture from local artisans and beautiful natural fabrics, you are creating that story of who you are and what you stand for.

A vegetable garden, tiling, new roof and outside play area have been the focus of the community outreach project. Maun Shelter Botswana Orphanage and Preschool provides shelter, schooling and food for up to 30 children in Maun. The work has been completed as a combined effort with fundraising from community events and contributions.
